    Featured website / Creative studio

Never Small Studios needed a website that could express its creative personality and make its capabilities easy to explore.

    The approach
A distinctive visual identity on screen, a visible project enquiry and a clear introduction to the studio.
    The delivered result
A website that brings the offer, people and portfolio into one experience. See the design decisions in the project.

    Your website can look professional
    and still lose you enquiries.

A visitor shouldn’t have to piece together what you do, decide whether to trust you, then hunt for a way to get in touch.

A visitor asks Am I in the right place? while trying to understand a website's message, services, reason to choose it and next step

Find the friction before adding more traffic.

Generic service copy attracts the wrong questions. Buried project proof leaves doubts unanswered. A slow mobile experience or difficult form can interrupt an otherwise good visit.

We look at the whole path from arrival to enquiry, including what you can measure.

    A clearer set of priorities.

We review the things that help a visitor become an enquiry. Here’s what we look for across the visitor journey.

    1. 01

      Value proposition

Can a new visitor quickly tell what you do, who you help and why it matters?

    2. 02

      Call to action

Is there a clear next step, with a specific reason to take it?

    3. 03

      Trust

Does relevant work or client proof support your claims before you ask for an enquiry?

    4. 04

      Content hierarchy

Can someone scan your services and find the detail they need?

    5. 05

      Mobile usability

Are navigation, text and forms comfortable to use on a phone?

    6. 06

      SEO architecture

Do service pages, headings and internal links make your offer easy to understand?

    From observations to next steps.

Clarify the opening message → bring proof forward → simplify the enquiry.
Your recommendations depend on what we find on your website.

    WebsitesBrand identityCreative direction

    Before you decide.

How much does a small business website cost?

Websites start at $1,500 AUD, with a landing page, two additional pages, basic SEO and a CMS. Additional pages, content and functionality affect the final quote. Your fixed-scope proposal sets out deliverables, build costs and recurring fees before you commit.

How long will my website take?

Your proposal sets out the schedule for content, design, development and launch. Page count, integrations, content readiness and feedback all affect timing. Share your deadline early so we can confirm what is achievable.

    Is SEO included?

SEO foundations are considered during the build: page structure, headings, metadata, internal links and mobile performance. Ongoing content, link building and SEO campaigns are separate scope. Rankings are not guaranteed.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes. We review your current structure, content and customer journey before recommending changes. Existing URLs and content migration need to be planned as part of the redesign.

    Do you provide copywriting?

You generally provide your written content and images. We help plan the content structure and can recommend a copywriter or photographer if you need support. Confirm any additional content costs in your proposal.

Can I update the website myself?

A CMS can be included for the content you need to manage. We agree which pages and fields you can edit, and the handover you need, when scoping your project.

    Who owns the website?

Ownership, account access, source files and any third-party licences should be set out in your agreement. We’ll walk through those terms with you before work starts.

    Do you provide hosting?

Hosting and ongoing care options can be discussed with your project. Your proposal should separate the build cost from recurring hosting, domain and software fees.

Can you integrate bookings or a CRM?

Tell us which tools you use and what should happen after an enquiry. We’ll check compatibility, any subscription requirements and integration scope before quoting.

    What happens after launch?

We agree the handover and post-launch support scope in your proposal. Ongoing updates and maintenance can be discussed separately so you know who will look after the website.

    Do you work outside Melbourne?

Yes. Our process supports remote collaboration with businesses across Australia and internationally, with a dedicated project contact and shared feedback.
